CHEESY APPLES

Ingredients:

7 Granny Smith apples
6 T. water
1 T. lemon juice
¾ C. sugar
¼ tsp. salt
½ C. flour
¼ C. butter or margarine
1 C. sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Directions:

Peel and slice apples, and place them in a 9x12” dish sprayed with Pam. Combine water and lemon juice and pour over apples. Combine sugar, salt, and flour in a separate bowl. Cut butter and cheese into dry mixture. Spoon mixture over apples. Dot the top with butter, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Really good with ham.
